Baghdad Democracy Promotion

The first term after the fall of Saddam Hussein's regime, the IPO ran its first project inside Iraq in the University of Baghdad and the University of Mustansiriya. The newsletter, Al-Jami'a, was published weekly and the debates were held weekly, alternating between the two universities.

The following contains pictures and details of some of the debates held by the University of Baghdad Debating Society and the University of Mustansiriya Debating Society.
