War On Saddam

Sir: Why do the media and public talk about a war on Iraq and not a war on Saddam Hussein? I don't think anyone is in favour of an attack on Iraq (ie the Iraqi people), but many support an attack on Saddam. As an Iraqi living in Britain, I strongly support the attack on Saddam and his Ba'ath Party, not Iraq. I think it is time to end the 33 years of Saddam's criminal acts and allow the Iraqi people to live in peace, governed by a proportional democratic government.
